Every client is assigned dedicated a Kuruka Counsellor and receives around 12 hours of support per month covering virtual and in-person meetings, desk work and field work. Typically, our engagement with clients lasts for 12 months plus.
Our service offering includes:
- Supporting better clarity – articulating oneself and one’s business.
- Acting as a sounding board – strategy, decisions, challenges, or opportunities, offering suggestions.
- Promoting critical thinking – challenging client’s rationale and helping to improve their line of logic.
- Offering key information – to spur interest and promote further research & knowledge building.
- Preparing and reviewing materials – including business plans, marketing strategies, financial forecasts and investment proposals.
- Imparting core business and financial skills – including financial literacy, analysis and planning, business model development, and marketing & sales.
- Creating systems and processes – including financial, marketing & sales, governance and organisational.
- Developing human resources – including hiring, managing & developing staff and improving team performance.
- Building habits and discipline – such as regular accounting, data-driven decision making, or as part of one’s personal development.
- Reflecting and improving self-awareness – understanding behaviours and motivations for decisions.
- Expressing emotion – including space and freedom to discuss stresses and anxieties.
